Visual Basic LED Control

Post by leictreonaic » June 15th, 2013, 12:29 pm

Here is a basic project I've been working on to control the leds on the MOJO board and you can learn ASCII binary and decimal representations.

-With the app you can send any input from a keyboard to the Mojo and the leds will light up according to that ascii key value.
-You can also pick an 8 bit selection and transfer it to the Mojo leds.
-You can then toggle each led ON and OFF with buttons at the bottom of the window.
-Clear the form and leds on Mojo.
-Each time a byte is sent it gets echoed back to the application, displayed as decimal and turns on picture boxes that show how the leds are set.

Here is the vb app and Mojo project files: ... sp=sharing

There is still an IOException on serialport.readbyte() sometimes when closing the com port or closing the app. Just choose close app for now if it happens. If you want the vb project or files I can post those.
