Visual Basic LED Control

Here is a basic project I've been working on to control the leds on the MOJO board and you can learn ASCII binary and decimal representations. -With the app you can send any input from a keyboard to the Mojo and the leds will light up according to that ascii key value. -You can also pick an 8 bit se...

It sets the leds on the Mojo just fine and when you type characters you can see their binary ascii value on the leds. You can sele...

Re: Serial Terminal Settings for Hello World Tutorial

Try changing the Speed in putty to 500000. It looks like you have most of the characters there just not in the right place.

Questions about the Serial Tutorial

So I got the serial tutorial working just fine. I am wondering about a few of the lines of message_printer.v. ... localparam STATE_SIZE = 1 ... reg [STATE_SIZE-1:0] state_d, state_q; What is the meaning of the STATE_SIZE? It looks like state_d & state_q are just one bit right? does it set state_d to...

Re: v2 generic usb driver not recognized

I guess try another USB port. I have windows 7 ultimate as well. I just did a clean install of the OS and when I plugged in the Mojo it popped right up in the device manager. Once again I pointed to the driver folder and it's all good again. So you have power but no data? Is it possible you are on a...

Re: Serial Terminal Settings for Hello World Tutorial

I just went through the serial tutorial and got it. I am running W7. !!Don't download Hyperterminal Private Edition!! The downloader I used added a bunch of spam programs from where I got it. Also it is only 30 day trial from download.com. Just use a free app like putty.exe. Using putty change the c...

Re: VHDL version of Mojo-Base project available

Yeah I was missing the AREF connection. Works perfect. I tested a few pots I had. 10k - 26 turn trimmer, 5k - 1 turn and 1Meg - 1 turn. Goes fast on the single turn.
